Thomas Edison was simply the one
who created the first commercially viable
light bulb. It is widely believed that he
invented the light bulb. What made
Edison’s light bulb successful was his use
of carbonized bamboo as the filament. This
made the bulb last longer and it was cheap
enough to be available for the masses. He
only improved on previous works of
inventors who also worked on the same
project.
