--- NEW EDUCATIONAL POLICY ---

Presented By :

Dr. Subathra Chelladurai, M.Com., M.Phil.PGDHRM, M. A (Soc.), M.Sc (Psy.), NET,

Ph.D

Globally, a wave of new education policies emerged in 2023–2024 with the goal of
changing the educational system and preparing students for the opportunities and
difficulties of the twenty-first century. These policies brought about significant
changes in the pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, structure, and technology
integration of education systems from India to the United States. The main
characteristics, goals, and ramifications of some of the most well-known new
education policies put into effect in 2023–2024 will be discussed in this article. The
NEP is a comprehensive plan with the goal of modernizing, inclusive, and innovating
the Indian educational system. Some of the key aspects of the NEP are:

a. It emphasizes the importance of early childhood care and education (ECCE), and
suggests the integration of pre-schools with primary schools.

b. It advocates for a flexible and multidisciplinary approach to learning, where

students can choose their subjects and courses across streams and levels.

c. It introduces a credit-based system for higher education, where students can

transfer their credits across institutions and programs, and exit with appropriate
qualifications.

d. It promotes the use of technology and innovation in education, and encourages

the development of digital infrastructure, content, and platforms.

e. It aims to achieve universal access and quality in education, and address the issues
of equity, inclusion, and diversity.

f. It recognizes the importance of teachers and their professional development, and

proposes a new National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST).

The global understanding of the necessity to innovate and modify education

institutions in the face of quickening social, economic, and technological change is
reflected in the new education policies put into place in 2023–2024. The
aforementioned policies are designed to provide students with the necessary
abilities, information, and moral principles to prosper in the twenty-first century and
make a positive impact on the long-term growth of their communities.

But because these regulations call for efficient implementation, assessment, and
adaptation, they also present important opportunities and challenges for educators,
legislators, and stakeholders. As a result, it is crucial to promote a climate of
communication, cooperation, and learning within the international education
community and to exchange best practices, insights, and recommendations for these
new educational policies.

--- Action & Traditional Method of Research ---

Presented By :

Prof. Dr. Cris T. Zita

Two distinct methods for carrying out methodical investigation in a variety of

domains, including the social sciences, education, and health, are action research
and traditional research. While traditional research uses rigorous, objective
procedures to test hypotheses and produce new information, action research uses
collaborative, participatory methods to enhance existing practices and solve real-
world problems. Depending on the goal, setting, and target audience, each style of
study has advantages and disadvantages.

Prof. Dr. Cris T. Zita will discuss the key characteristics, benefits, and drawbacks of
both action research and traditional research in this talk. Along with discussing the
practical and ethical concerns associated with conducting and disseminating
research, he will also offer instances of how action research and traditional research
might be implemented in many contexts and situations. You will know more about
the parallels and discrepancies between action research and conventional research
at the end of this presentation, and you will know how to select the best
methodology for your own research projects.

To sum up, action research and traditional research are two distinct but
complimentary methods for carrying out methodical investigation across a range of
disciplines. While traditional research is more suited for testing hypotheses and
producing new knowledge, action research is better at fixing real-world issues and
enhancing current procedures. Depending on the goal, setting, and target audience,
each style of study has advantages and disadvantages of their own. As a result, while
selecting a methodology for their own research projects, researchers should be
aware of the advantages and disadvantages of both action research and traditional
research. Along with adhering to the pertinent rules and regulations, they should
also take into account the practical and ethical concerns related to performing and
sharing research. By doing so, researchers can contribute to the advancement of
knowledge and practice in their respective fields.

--- Business Intelligence and Digital Intelligence for Contemporary Organizational

Designs ---

Presented By :

Prof. Dr. Supaprawat Siripipatthanakul

In order to use data and technology to acquire a competitive edge and accomplish
strategic objectives, modern enterprises need to understand two key concepts:
business intelligence (BI) and digital intelligence (DI). While DI refers to the set of
abilities and skills required to thrive in a digital world, including digital opportunities,
digital mindset, digital culture, and data literacy, BI refers to the process of
gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to support decision making and
performance management. In order to innovate new goods and services, adapt to a
changing environment, and add value for stakeholders and customers, businesses
need both BI and DI in their modern organizational architectures.

Prof. Dr. Supaprawat Siripipatthanakul will discuss the relationship between BI and
DI in this talk, as well as how to integrate and align them to produce organizational
designs that are both successful and efficient. Additionally, he will go over the
difficulties and possibilities associated with applying BI and DI in many fields and
settings, including the public sector, industry, healthcare, and education. He will give
instances and best practices of how businesses may use BI and DI to enhance their
operations, results, and effects. Upon completion of this presentation, you will
possess an enhanced comprehension of the principles and uses of BI and DI, as well
as how they may assist you in designing and revolutionizing your company in the era
of digital transformation.

To sum up, business intelligence and digital intelligence are two critical
competencies for contemporary executives who wish to use technology and data to
build successful organizational structures. While digital intelligence enables leaders
to create a digital culture, cultivate a digital mentality, learn to speak data, and seize
digital opportunities, business intelligence helps leaders gather, analyze, and present
data to support decision-making and performance management. Leaders need to be
able to integrate and connect emerging and current digital technologies with their
strategic goals, as well as understand how they can affect their enterprises. Along
with adhering to moral and practical norms, leaders must also overcome obstacles
and grasp the potential presented by integrating business intelligence and digital
intelligence in various situations and domains. In the era of digital disruption, CEOs
may gain a competitive edge and create value by doing this and helping their firms
undergo a digital transformation.
