CBSE Board Exam 2024: Important instructions

Candidates who will appear for the board examination this year may check the
list of instructions given below:

• Reach the Exam Centre 30 to 45 minutes before the start of the

examination. The examination will begin at 10.30 am. I do advise that
the parents drop your children personally at Exam Centre well before
10.00am as no student will permitted entry after 10.00am
• Do locate your sitting position like floor number, room number, etc
from the notice board as soon as you reach the Exam Centre.
• Carry your Admit Card, School ID Card and other documents
mentioned in the admit card on all exam days. Do remember that
Admit Card is to be maintained even after your examinations.
• Bring your own stationery items (blue or ballpoint pen, pencil and
eraser) to the exam centre. Do carry 1 or 2 spare pen as well.
• Do not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones,
smartwatches, calculators, etc to the examination hall.
• Regular Students should appear for CBSE Exams in neat and tidy
School Uniform (without blazer).
• Read the instructions on the question paper carefully. Read the
questions carefully before answering them.
• Do not write anything on the question papers and avoid writing
anything more other than your answers on the answer booklet. No
signs, no symbols, no prayers, etc…
• Don't leave the examination hall without permission.
• Don’t carry any paper bits, receipts, currency cash, etc. in your pocket
while you are in Examination Hall.
• Do not talk or engage in any unfair practices in the examination hall.
• Do not cause any kind of material damage in the Examination Centre.
• Have a peaceful and good sleep on the night before the exam day.
• Have a proper breakfast before leaving for the examination.
• Mind that God helps those who help themselves.
