1. What can you say about the different approaches in studying personality?

I used to think of personality as an individual's individuality, believing that everyone has

distinct qualities and behaviors. However, I've met some teenage twins and based on what I've
seen of their behavior and personal qualities, I've seen that some of their behaviors are nearly
identical but not identical. As we can see, it's difficult to compare one person to another because
of the differences in their personalities and the fact that before learning the various approaches to
studying personality, I realized that people react to the environment differently depending on
their personal development.
After learning about the various approaches to studying personality, I came to the
conclusion that personality is a life form with psychological systems that regulate behavior and
traits. Personalities, according to McLeod (2014), are the combination of characteristics that
make a person appear unique. As a result, personality emphasizes individual uniqueness and
adopts an idiographic perspective, which assumes that each person has a separate psychological
structure and exhibits distinct qualities. To sum up, it confirms my experience that comparing
one person to another can be really tough at times. In the same way that the studies of Schultz
and Ellen (2005) that everything is done by an individual, including future aspirations, and that
everything is impacted by the individual's personality as well as the personalities of others with
whom they associate. When it comes to understanding human behavior, I believe the biological
approach to studying personality is the most effective approach. To some extent, this approach is
based on the nature-nurture relationship, demonstrating that all human behavior is influenced by
one's biological makeup and heredity. This concept implies that an individual's conduct is
unaffected by the environment, and that human judgment and behaviors can be derived from the
parents.
These various approaches to studying personality can be used in a variety of ways to better
comprehend an individual's feelings and ideas, the majority of which are inaccessible to an
individual. According to the findings of Boeree (1997), some occurrences may be inaccessible to
a person's conscious and instinctive motivation. To summarize, we can utilize these approaches
as a guide to comprehend the reasons for human difficulty as they are embedded in culture and
history in order to manage and anticipate. It has been demonstrated, however, that regulating and
predicting about people is unethical, and that these approaches assist individuals in guiding their
behavior. People, for example, they may infer that past events are more likely to happen again in
the future. As a result, many personality approaches can be considered as a map that leads people
to a new area and aids individuals in recognizing humanity's uniqueness.
