I. INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Compose a free verse poetry about your native hometown. Read the descriptions
below about free verse poetry. NOTE: Minimum of 8 lines, maximum of 12 lines

Free Verse Poetry: Unbound by rhyme or meter, free verse allows for immense creative
freedom, reflecting the natural flow of language and thought.

2. You may write in English, Filipino or Cebuano. Integrating diffferent languages/dialect

in one composition is not allowed.

3. Each group will provide a copy of rubric to the other groups for the rating during the
presentation, and a copy of the composition.

4. You will present the free verse poetry in the class next week February 26, 2024. Group
presentation will be graded using the rubric below.
