MBSMES Triumphs at District Schools Press Conference

Mamerto C. Bernardo Memorial Central School was abuzz with excitement on

January 9, 2024, as the District Schools Press Conference unfolded,
showcasing the journalistic prowess of young talents from various schools.
One institution, in particular, stood out among the rest, as Matias B. Salvador
Memorial Elementary School emerged as the overall champion under the
leadership of their dedicated School Principal III, Mrs. Perla E. Dela Cruz.

The event saw the participation of nine teacher-coaches and 18 talented

young journalists from Matias B. Salvador Memorial Elementary School, who
exhibited exceptional skills in various categories, ultimately securing the top
position in the overall standings. The school not only took home a prestigious
trophy but also garnered a remarkable collection of individual accolades.

In a display of excellence, Matias B. Salvador Memorial Elementary School

earned three gold medals, two silver medals, and three bronze medals across
different competition categories. Furthermore, four students from the school
also showcased their prowess by securing 5th to 7th positions, earning them
the opportunity to compete in the upcoming EDDIS Level Press Conference as
well which is scheduled on February.

The success of Matias B. Salvador Memorial Elementary School did not stop
there, as 12 exceptionally talented young writers advances to represent the
school in the EDDIS Level Competition. This upcoming challenge will
undoubtedly put their skills to the test on a broader platform, showcasing the
school's commitment to nurturing and honing the talents of its students.

Mrs. Perla E. Dela Cruz expressed her pride in the students' accomplishments,
emphasizing the importance of fostering creativity, critical thinking, and
effective communication skills. She highlighted the dedication of the teacher-
