Media and broadcasting have arisen overhead the terms and have continuously

altered to speculate the obligations and engage the hurdles of our society. The rapid
audience shift from the television to digital OTT platforms such as Apple TV,
Netflix, Amazon, and many more have transformed a TV broadcaster's responsibility
into an overall broadcaster. With the ever-changing industry dynamics, it is not
apparent to augment to make connections for their users and making connections
with their users. Besides that, the work world proceeds to innovate; with more
enhanced automation and higher emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence
and interfaces, releasing an overabundance of the ultimatum of media and broadcast
production expertise to connect the dizzying numbers of dots in this era of
information overload. Media and broadcast refer to varied disciplines that provide
you with a solid foundation in media-based storytelling by combining in-depth
research methods with a practical, hands-on approach to learning.

I have breathed up to the standards of possessing an excellent academic record,

succeeding from my diligence and devotion. I have pursued my bachelor's of
technology in electrical communication engineering from one of the most prestigious
universities named Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, with a cumulative AB
CGPA in 2018.

The enthusiasm and affection I have for electronics and broadcast originated at a very
young age. I was invariably astonished by the idea of the art behind the broadcast,
which rapidly became an essential part of entertainment for the public. I was prying
to know everything about cameras and broadcasts, and my questioning continued to
develop with each innovative art I watched. After noticing my passion for the field, I
was exposed to broadcasting set by my uncle, a telecast crew I invariably conducted
for his live telecast visits. I was spellbound by seeing how multiple cameras outputs
come together to form one pasture. Hence, I decided to pursue my bachelor's degree
in electronics and communication engineering to acquire the knowledge of
researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic types of equipment
accompanied by the basics of this art. During my under graduation, I worked on a
broad range of projects, from building a mobile vehicle with a camera to transmitting
the video to understand a video traversal. I have associated and secured 1 st position in
multiple paper presentations such as ‘Art of broadcaster’ and ‘Brain fingerprinting.’

After completing my under graduation, I was offered a full-time job as an assistant

broadcast engineer at NEP group, where I gained extensive experience in
understanding and operating a live broadcast setup. I have worked as a vision
engineer to broadcast the England tour of India and IPL in 2020 and 2021. Alongside
this, I also devoted myself to furthering my knowledge of broadcasts by
accompanying various media houses on LinkedIn and reading about the latest
innovations.

After gaining all these experiences, I realized that I do not have adequate knowledge
in my field as I encountered several critical situations while working. Besides that,
India is at an immediate to the mid-stage period of innovation in broadcast
production globally, which seemed like the periphery for exploring the future of the
technological world. This helped me to find a precise delineation of the field I
wanted my profession to be. Along with this, I yearn to accentuate my competency
and explore my potential. So to gain a profound piece of knowledge in this field to
augment my expertise in this domain, I decided to pursue my post-graduation in MA
Media and Broadcast Production program. This program will assist me in acquiring a
substantial clutch of analytical approaches in the broadcasting domain. It further
avails me to strengthen my individual and professional skills. It will aid me to
heighten my vocation by proffering me a reasonable understanding of the latest
technologies. This course has all the topics required to augment chief revelation to
the domain and discern the obliged subjects. Thus, to take the appropriate step
towards my profession and aim, I determined to pursue post-graduation in the media
and broadcast production program. After achieving this program, I intend to strive
with prime producing companies such as Dharma Productions, Yash Raj Films,
Bhansali productions, T-series, and many more to attain expertise. After gaining the
expertise, I desire to utilize my creativity and technical dexterity to develop
revolutionary broadcast systems by working in the research arena.

For my additional knowledge and to acquire a professional qualification, I could not

find any better country than the United Kingdom. The fundamental reason is that the
UK’s brilliantly healthy and welcoming atmosphere is a remarkably desirable driving
feature. While seeking advice from my colleagues – professors, seniors, and
professionals – I have heard nothing but praise for the UK’s education system,
notably for its ease of dealing, regular classroom encounters, and simple evaluation
methods. In addition, the UK offers a broad scope of specialization for a graduate
degree, and a degree from the UK is globally recognized.

While filtering schools and universities, I paid particular attention to the balance
between theoretical and applied paradigms embedded in the program structure. This
made Queens University my most preferable institution for learning. As Queens
University offers in-depth expertise in all the fields such as media and broadcast
analysis, the radio documentary and narrative podcasting, broadcast journalism,
television documentary practice, and broadcasting genre, I require to enhance my
knowledge accompanied by interactive media and media and podcast dissertation in a
single program. The faculty members are the best in their fields, with years of
experience at their disposal. In this reciprocity, I would like to mention that Dr.
Derek Johnston, a lecturer in broadcast at Queen’s University, shares the same
interest in the research as mine. I would be sanctified if I would get an opportunity to
work and be mentored by him. I am fascinated by the thought of immersing myself in
the university's learning environment, driven by applied, conceptual, and disciplined
research.

I sincerely hope that the admission committee discovers my academic and co-
curricular profile well-suited to the course requirements and gives me a chance to be
