Warm-up

Presentation
Ask students to look at the model text. Elicit the type of text it is, e.g. email, narrative,

Students follow the reading exercises.

Students follow the practice exercises to practise using the useful language for writing.

Closure
Give students the opportunity to feed back on how well they have learnt the lesson.
Encourage them to read the ‘I can …’ statement at the top of the Student Book page and
assess how well they have achieved the lesson objective. Ask students:
