INCLUSION

As stated in the previous topic we learned about in class, every child is entitled to actively
participate in every aspect of life in the community. Inclusion, basically portrays the diversity of
humanity, emphasizing how unique each child or individual is. Every child has hobbies and
strengths that should be acknowledged. The focus should be on the classroom as a whole and not
just on one particular student. It can happen when children are being viewed as capable individuals
in their society rather than as flaws that need to be fixed. As future educators, we can modify our
approaches to allow our students to engage is a clear exemplification of inclusion and it’s not about
"fixing" the child or improving their ability to blend in.
