The eponymous Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University,Chhatarpur was established on 09 July,2014
by an Act of the Assembley of the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh . Under its jurisdiction, 210 colleges from
Tikamgarh,Niwari, Panna,Chhatarpur,Damoh & Sagar are affiliated. There are 22 University teaching
departments wherein 14000 students are enrolled in the current session. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shubha
Tiwari is leaving no stone unturned to make it a hub of learning and exchange of ideas. The university, being a
seat of learning, considers its duty to unfold the huge contribution of Maharaja Chhatrasal before the world
with authenticity so that the present generation and generations to come may get an opportunity to research
and analyze the great tasks of the son of soil that are unearthed so far. Maharaja Chhatrasal , who not only
ruled over a vast area of Bundelkhand but also led from the front whenever the territorial integrity was
threatened by the internal or external hostile forces for their vested interests. His reign witnessed flourishing of
literature, arts and culture by leaps and bounds but account of lack of availability of literature and in-depth
research on Maharaja Chhatrasal, such a great warrior, efficient ruler, protector of people, bearer of social
harmony and excellent poet, could not occupy the place in intellectual discourse or in history that he deserves.
The Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, Prof. Shubha Tiwari felt it
necessary to provide a platform for research and discourse by setting up of "Maharaja Chhatrasal Research
Chair”. It has provided an easy platform to the students for doing research on tactics, public policy, diplomacy,
social harmony, culture, water management, land revenue system, architecture etc. The present international
seminar is being hosted with the aim of giving concrete shape to this sentiment.

Invited Papers:
Research based and good papers are invited for presentation in the
conference. In English the abstract (in 200 words) and full paper (in 2000 words)
should be typed with double space in Times New Roman (12 font size), and in Hindi
Arial Unicode (14 font size) title of the paper name of author (s), text and reference not
exceeding one page in MS Word format . Research paper should be original and
unpublished. The abstract paper and full paper in soft copy should reach on or before
