ULTRASOUND REPORT
Transvaginal pelvic ultrasound was performed. UTERUS: 6.9

x 3.5 x 2.8 cm (LxWxAP)

It is normal in size, location and contour. The parenchyma is homogeneous with no circumscribed mass
lesion seen. The endometrial stripe is intact and not thickened measuring about 0.7 cm.
No gestational sac or fetal pole noted at this time of examination.

CERVIX: 2.5 x 2.2 x 1.9 cm (LxWxAP)

It is closed and unremarkable.

RIGHT OVARY: 3.1 x 3.0 x 2.1 cm (LxWxAP)

LEFT OVARY: 3.0 x 2.2 x 1.8 cm (LxWxAP)
The ovaries are lateral to the uterus, normal in size and stromal echoes. There are multiple (>25 on the
right and >18 on the left) tiny peripherally-located follicles measuring about 0.8 cm and less.

No evident adnexal mass seen and no fluid noted in the posterior cul-de-sac.

IMPRESSION:

Normal-size anteverted uterus.

Intact and unthickened endometrium.
Normal-size ovaries exhibiting some polycystic features.
Unremarkable adnexae and posterior cul-de-sac.
Please correlate clinically.
