USG OF LOWER ABDOMEN

RIGHT : Right kidney is normal in size (101mm), shape, position and lie. Cortico-medullary echo distinction
KIDNEY is preserved. No calculus or hydronephrosis is present on right side.

LEFT : Left kidney is normal in size (99mm), shape, position and lie. Cortico-medullary echo distinction
KIDNEY is preserved. No calculus or hydronephrosis is present on left side.

URETERS : They are not dilated.

URINARY : Adequately distended and contour is normal. Wall thickness is normal.

BLADDER No calculus is seen.

UTERUS : Uterus is normal in size (76mm x 40mm x 39mm), anteverted and midline in position. Normal
myometrial echotexture is present without focal lesion. Endometrial thickness (4mm) is normal.
Cervix is normal in appearance.

ADNEXAE : No adnexal SOL is seen. Right ovary is normal in size and left ovary is enlarged in size
(Rt. Ovary: 38mm x 23mm x 15mm, volume = 7cc & Lt. Ovary: 48mm x 28mm x 24mm
volume = 17.5 cc) showing multiple small follicles peripherally located with echogenic stroma.

No evidence of peritoneal free fluid is seen.

IMPRESSION :

● Bulky left ovary with bilateral polycystic appearance.

Suggested : Clinical correlation & further evaluation by relevant investigations.
