Setup 1
Kisne kaha inke sirf kaan hotey hain?
In deewaro par hi toh shuru, sab hi armaan
hotey hain
Kal jise pankh phailakar udaan bharna tha
Aaj usey, neeli jersey pehankar India ka captaan
banna hai
In aarhi tedhi lakeeron mein bhi jubaan hotey
hain
In hi mein to bachho ke, saaton aasman hotey
hain
Kisne kahan deewaron ke sirf kaan hotey hain?
Sapne to har din rang badalte hain,
…wo thodi na sotey hain?
Kabhi pencil to kabhi pastel,
…to kabhi zid pakad ke rotey hain…
- A tracking shot of a beautiful looking living
room wall ends with a football leaving a dirt-
stain on the same wall.
- Close up of the football leaving dirt-stained
mark on the wall.
- The child celebrates like Ronaldo! (“Siuu”)
Setup 2
- Camera pans from a girl’s face to a wall she is
doodling with crayons on a wall, we see her
draw a rocket along with planets.
- On the same frame of the wall, in a match cut,
with the girls handing still colouring at the same
spot, we see the rocket disappear and
transforms into a cricket bat/ cricketer playing
a shot.
- The camera pans back to the same girl and
this time we see her wearing an oversized India
jersey. She looks at her mother who’s
impressed with her drawing… no fear of the
scribble on the wall.
Setup 3
- A girl shows us her vlogging skills as she
displays her art on the wall.
Setup 3
Her younger sister throws ketchup on the wall,
spoiling the art as the older sister facepalms. A
candid moment between siblings.

In a wide shot, we reveal the parents also
sitting there playing with the children – not
worried about the mess on the wall.
Setup 4
In a track in, we see a girl / boy kid first draw a
spiderman logo then, we see them draw a
batman and then we see them draw a
superman – changing their positions on the
camera frame. (different times of the day and
different costumes)
Setup 5
A fast montage of tight scribbling shots of
pencil, crayons and a colour pencil who’s nib
gets broken! The child makes a tearful face…
Alt. POV of wall, drawing with pencil, then
colouring with crayon.

Setup 6
A slightly older child (12-14) buried in a sea of
books with exams approaching, writes down an
important formula on the wall.
Wall POV here to begin with as the girl comes
close to frame and sticks a small sticky note
among many other colourful ones covering the
frame. Followed by reverse shot, sticky notes
reveal motivation quotes and formulae.
Setup 7
Close shot of a child’s hand entering frame as it
drawing a V shaped around a tree, and goes out
of frame - repeat. Cut to wider shot to reveal a
father on a diwan doing fun bench presses with
his kid, lifting him up. Every time he reaches the
top of the tree, he draws a bird. On the wall is
giant tree.
The wall is blue and so are the costumes. Only
the yellow birds stand out.
A quick montage of some of the walls we have
already seen with their scribbles.
A hand enters frame holding a sponge and
wipes it all off with one, gentle stroke.
