Which is your favorite theory of development. How can this guide you as a future
teacher? Clip some readings about this theory and paste them here.

Lev Vygotsky's Sociocultural Theory simply tells us that the people around us
like our parents, friends are the ones who help our brain to develop into a
higher-order function. In his socio-cultural perspective, it is said that it is the
guide so that our values and beliefs can be developed more. Every human
culture you know provides tools of intellectual adaptation so children use their
abilities to adapt to the culture they see.

art.
The Family, Community and School has a great impact to the learners
development. Family is the first chid’s teacher. They teach their children to
embrace each other. Learning together with the family that give children a big
love and support is a great factor that helps in child development.

The School is the one who mold the child to be the better version of
theirselves. Teachers help the students to bring out their hidden talents and
knowledge and also guide the students on their academic performance and
also their emotional and mental health.

your comments/annotations about what you observed.

This is a PowerPoint Presentation that can easily access and understand if

they have trouble understanding the lesson that the teacher is being
discussed.

2. Visit www.teachnology.com or other teacher resource website. Print useful

instructional materials (worksheets, visual aids, flashcards, rubrics, etc.) and
include them here. Indicate how they might be useful considering your major
or area of specialization.

2. Visit www.edudemic.com/50-educationtechnology-tools-every-teacher-

out. Describe what you discovered and share how these tools can be helpful
to you, as a teacher.
Both our teachers and students can benefit much from this website. It is
possible to approach both local and international teachers if you have any
questions or need assistance with your topic, I observed. Given that it offers
perspectives, thoughts, guidance, and responses.

3. Visit edtechteacher.org. This a treasure box for you. Explore and share
what you learned.
This website has proven beneficial to me because it gives me ideas for tools
that I can use for the learning activities I will be doing with just a single click,
saving me time and effort. In addition, it offers meetings, free materials,
lectures, and a workshop to its members.

4. Paste an article about an example of technology gadget/material that you

want to learn more about. How can this gadget/material be useful in
instruction/teaching?

SMART TABLES in the classroom

The SMART Table 442i interactive learning center combines learning and
play to inspire center-based learning and active collaboration.

The sturdier cousin to the smartboard, smart tables are re-orienting information
for all ages. These digital displays take information off the wall and put it on
tables. Sector leaders like SMART Technologies’ “SMART Table” focus their
innovation on making the display sturdier than their wall-mounted cousins and
supporting more simultaneous interactions. For example, the table in the video
below can handle 40 unique touch points at the same time. It is a perfect fit for
a room full of eager young students

This gadget can be more engaging and collaborative for the learners because it
was designed for students where it allows to play, they work together in small
groups and develop 21st century learning skills such as communication,
leadership. it comes with pre-loaded applications including notebook that
teachers can customize to individual learning needs. in addition, teachers have
access to over 1500 activities on the smart exchange.

One of the relevant way to see if the learning objectives were met is the
Authentic Assessment. It help students analyze what they’ve learned and
apply it their own experience. They don’t have to memorize facts for a test, so
they can use their creativity to show what they’ve learned.

My Teacher, My Hero

She is Ms.Daynacel Labuguen, LPT. I am her Field Study student at

Northeastern College- Basic Education Center. In my experience, I have seen
how she handles different types of students. She is passionate about teaching
and she always checks if the children really have learned anything about the
lesson she discussed. She is adaptability, flexible and versatile in the field.
Also, she is excellent in classroom management. She possessed both
professional competencies and personal qualities that a great teacher should
have. She taught me how to love teachin. and be responsible for the things
that I will do.

Activity 15.1 Narrative on the Day in the Social Life of the Quality Teacher

Teachers are nation builders. Teachers are the mother . A minor error on her
part could lead to the complete demise of the pupils under his instruction. She
is a good teacher to be a role model for students. She goes to school early
and comes home late. She is a strict disciplinarian. She is preparing a lesson
so that the child will have knowledge. In spite of her best efforts, sometimes
she faces the anger of the Principal. But instead of going up against with the
principal, she takes the principal's advice. She loves his job so much that
even though she is struggling, he continues to fight for quality education for
children.

Vision of the Classroom for the 21st Century.

3. Activity 15.2 Narrative on how you will manage teaching-learning in the

21% Century classroom.
The 21st century is indeed challenging because not only tools and
infrastructures are changing but also the attitude and socialization of children.
For me to manage teaching learning, I have to be strict and have rules in my
classroom. I need to create a positive learning environment that is conducive
to student success. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize project-based
learning and employ technology to help with communication and teamwork so
that learners may participate more actively in our activities.

On Teacher’s
Philosophy of

FS 1 16 Education

SHOW Your Learning Artifacts (p.224)

My Philosophy of Teaching

I believe that every student has a unique learning style that’s why I find it
extremely challenging to expand my knowledge in order to understand the
various things that students know.

I need to be able to show and unleash their unique understanding so that they
can be more active and gain new knowledge because I believe it is my
obligation to know where they are good and weak, where they are more
interested, what each can do.

And for me to do my job, I need to build a strong relationship with my students

as well as with their parents.
