It’s a challenging topic, but I believe that the government shouldn’t impose an additional tax on

airplanes to earn more tax revenue to develop low pollution or more environmentally friendly
types of transportation. Not only does the tax increase the price of the ticket as Claire claims, but
also impose more burden on those businessmen who often use airplane as a transportation tool.
Businessmen have to travel to many different places to make deals and in most cases thees
places are far away from each other. For them, traveling by airplane is the most time-saving and
efficient way. However, if governments impose an additional tax on airplanes, businessmen have
to pay more for work, which will have a bad influence on the development of small companies
and therefore affect the whole economy.
