This is an Exclusive competition for Virtusa Partner Campus COE colleges in India
Unlike other competition, this competition is curated in such a way that you get the complete
understanding of how a business requirement is understood to taking it to the final
“Industrialization”

This is how you will take part in it…

You must fulfill the following criteria…

1) You are currently pursuing Pre-Final year (3rd year if B Tech or 4th Year if Integrated M Tech)
– CS / IT / ECE (No CGPA Mandate)
2) Should have very good analytical thinking and must be ready to go that extra mile
3) Ready to dedicate next 3 months and manage academics in parallel
4) Interested to work on AI / BOTS / IOT / Connected Devices
5) Your interest should be on Full Stack / Python / ML or any of the Niche area

What is to be done…
1) Firstly, for a team 5 member and identify a SPOC from your team - Max is 5 per team
2) SPOC to register on behalf of the team in the given link below – Rest of the member to
refrain from registering directly.

Next Steps with Jatayu Explorer Award –

1) You will be inducted into Virtusa for a period of 1-2 months between January & February 2022 – Entitled for Stipend
of INR 15K per month
2) Expectation is to ensure that the Final Solution is taken to Industrialization, ready to be used by Virtusa / Clients
3) Those teams successfully able to complete and Go Live will be rewarded Cash prize of 1Lakh per team and Runner
up 50k – Additionally become part of “Jatayu Fellow Award”

● Entitled you to get a Paid Internship during Summer’22 – Stipend varies depending on Performance

Expectation & How you will be grilled…

Stage 1 – Ideation & Solution Approach Stage
1) You should be able to express in a very crisp, how you intend to approach solution for the given
Problem
2) Reference Architecture, Solution Overview & Tech Stacks to be used – Key Areas to be covered in
presentation

College SPOC will be trained on the selection process, to hand pick best Presentation meeting criteria’s per Use
Case – Only 5 Teams per college (1 per Use Case) will be considered for Virtusa Evaluation

Stage 2 – Implementation & Proto-typing

1) Top 25 Teams from across Partner Campus COE Colleges will get to compete for Semi Finals
2) Teams able to submit early / faster response to get brownie points during Evaluation
3) Code Quality plays a key role here
