Never thought

I know there is air because when I breathe, it travels through my nose, but I do not
see it. I can touch the water, but I cannot lift it up. And, like the horizon of the sea, I can
see that I am getting there yet am still far away.

I am almost eight years in the seminary formation. Along with that there is a
seminary or diocesan activity regarding vocation awareness and promotion. Sometimes I
ask to give my vocation story but most of the time I listen to their different stories. From
that experience I came to notice that they have share the same sentiments; “I never
thought…”
It never entered into my mind to decide to become a priest my intention only to
continue my studies after having my junior high school studies. Although I am an altar
serve for almost 6 year I never recall to enter into that life. Furthermore, it never in mind
but I think it comes from the outside constantly clings into my ear. The story of my father
that his office mate’s children study at the seminary. My parents have colleague who is a
priest and the like. So, the fact that I am tuning into those stories I have that the idea what
seminary and what a priest is.
In the end, I may all hold the rope with God as I journey. Never take our hands
out of it because there is bliss in every trial, and in every trial, God is accompanying me
in this journey.
Thus, the journey with God is an immense and superb story to unfold. Indeed, it
is his Divine wisdom radiate though-out my life. It is in God’s thoughts, words, and
deeds that He may unfold the very mystery of the vocation I am trading. All I have to do
is to walk, run, rest with Him. To walk according to his wisdom. Now, I can attest that I
never thought to be here because exactly it was never in my thoughts but it is God’s
wisdom that I have the thought to be here.
