I. RATIONALE:
AACISD organizes and supports the celebration of the 2024 National Arts Month in February with the theme
“Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain” (Harvest of the Creative Nation). In view of this, a series of activities will
be undertaken and supervised by the Academic Affairs, Curriculum, and Instruction Services Division for the
whole month of February. Moreover, a culminating activity will be held on the last day of February where
learners’ outstanding outputs, presentations, and awarding ceremony will be conducted.

II. CONCEPT NOTE

A.5. Activity Series of activities will be undertaken and supervised by the Academic
Affairs, Curriculum, and Instruction Services Division (AACISD) for
the whole month of February.
Background/Rationale: Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 683 signed in 1991, the
Philippines recognizes its culture and art in different forms with the
celebration of the annual National Art Month (NAM) every February,
spearheaded by the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts
(NCCA) through its sub-commission on the Arts. This highlights the
importance of acknowledging exceptional artistic contribution and
promoting artistic movement and expressions as embodied in the field
of visual arts, architecture and allied arts, music, dance, cinema,
dramatic arts, and literary arts of student-athletes.

diversity of Filipino heritage and culture;

Venue: In front of SSTAS Building, there must be a space for the program proper and SAs dance performance,
chairs allotted for the NAS personnel, 3 tables for judges and 3 tables for materials needed in the program.
