BRAINS ON THE STREETS FOUNDATION

CONCEPT NOTE FOR OPERATIONALISATION

INTRODUCTION
Ghana as a developing country, is still grappling with a lot of developmental challenges
which manifest itself in the production of a number of homeless or street children
without any hope. Most children in the rural areas as well as the teeming youth that
leave our educational institutions, often do not have adequate skills that makes them
employable in the few existing job markets therefore leading them to fend on the
streets. The sad reality is that, these children on the streets are endowed with talents or
‘brains’ which if well harnessed can be used to address the numerous socio-economic
challenges facing the nations.
It is to address these challenges that the BRAINS ON THE STREET FOUNDATION

incorporated on 17th May, 2018.
