PE coursework on football. This type of coursework often requires in-depth research, analysis, and
the ability to articulate ideas effectively. Here are some challenges you might encounter:

1. Research Complexity: Gathering relevant information on football-related topics, including

rules, strategies, and historical context, can be time-consuming and may require access to
various sources.
2. Analytical Skills: Interpreting data and analyzing the performance of football players or
teams may demand a strong analytical mindset, as well as the ability to draw meaningful
conclusions from the information gathered.
3. Writing Skills: Articulating your thoughts and findings in a coherent and structured manner
is crucial. Developing a well-organized coursework with proper grammar and syntax is
challenging for many students.
4. Time Management: Balancing coursework with other academic and personal commitments

this case it was not practical to do the training program for so long. From my circuit I am aiming to
improve cardiovascular endurance and it may also improve ball skills. Most things with my weak
foot aren’t great but my weak foot passing is quite a big area for improvement. The 12-minute
cooper run was completed 7 times in full, because I had to do one test before the investigation began
to see what level of stamina I was at to begin with. Football involves intermittent activity of
changing intensity within the field of play. I am planning to use cycling, jogging and swimming as
three different exercises aimed at improving my cardiovascular endurance. My flexibility programme
is aimed at improving the flexibility of my muscles as it is very useful for many sports. If you use
them, I hope they are of benefit for you and your students! Techniques My technical strengths are
passing, dribbling, heading and first touch. In off season much of the preparation for the following
season is done. Reviews Select overall rating (no rating) Your rating is required to reflect your

between the sets. This will determine whether the exercise is aimed at improving my muscular
strength, muscular endurance, muscular power, flexibility or cardiovascular endurance. Join our
community of Physical Education professionals worldwide. It occurs when glucose stored in the
muscles is used, lactic acid and a little bit of energy is produced. The first rule which is one that
heavily influences the game is the offside rule. This will be performed before I start my six-week
period of training to show what my current stamina level is. A complete circuit consists of between
8-15 stations and the circuit must be relevant for a specific sport so that the exercises at each station
can be relevant for that particular sport. I.E a Hockey circuit should have exercises involving hitting
a hockey ball or passing a hockey ball etc. By stretching, I am making the connective tissue of
muscles more flexible allowing me to move more freely at my joints. I thought that my training plan
was set up very well overall, because there wasn’t a single occasion were I felt the activities became
tedious, had the activities become tedious it would certainly have affected performance. My strength
also lies in beating players at certain times with good dribbling and I am also a good header of the
ball which ties in with the co-ordination. There are five main aspects to general fitness, which consist
of the following. A stronger and healthier muscle responds better to exercise and activities and helps
prevent athlete injury. Other times I might try to cross the ball instead, usually if the free kick is in
middle distance range. The two central midfielders play a very important role in this formation as
they need to provide the stability. For the first two weeks of my training routine the exercises will
not require me to push myself to the limit. A more flexible muscle is a stronger and healthier muscle.
Throughout my higher education at Full Sail University, I have been able to overcome weaknesses
that I have and raised other strengths beyond what I thought I could. This is because the majority of
the time in midfield you don’t have much time on the ball as there is always an opponent right
behind you trying to retrieve the ball.
At the same time, exercising only once a month will not increase your fitness by much, if at all. This
means speed is needed to move either your whole body or just part of it, which is very common in
football. By clicking “Check Writers’ Offers”, you agree to our terms of service and privacy policy. A
professional athlete will train 5 or more days per week whilst someone who is just trying to improve
their fitness may only train twice a week. Football involves intermittent activity of changing
intensity within the field of play. There will be two days, which are set as a rest days and one day in
which I will do a run, which over the six-week period will improve my stamina level. Bend your
knee and take hold of the ankle of the leg, gently pull the ankle towards your buttocks. The strikers
play a different role to the midfield but also require a certain amount of rotation. I would also say I
have good strength which I can use to power up with my legs to head the ball. Anaerobic training is
concentrating on working the muscular and cardiovascular systems to work for a shorter time without
enough oxygen. Write a review Update existing review Submit review Cancel It's good to leave
some feedback. For example, warming up your biceps and triceps by reaching for your toes and also
warming up your hamstrings by doing squat thrusts to warm up your muscles. Heading skills also
enable a team to use the long ball tactic bombarding the opposition with long passes towards their
penalty area. Many games of five-a-side are played in the street, on the beach, or on a piece of waste
ground with minimal facilities and little organisation. My recovery rate has shortened and I have
found that the cool down part of each session is very important. Tackling allows you to compete for
the ball, and take the initiative. It is also a formation which requires a lot of short passing, a lot like
how Barcelona play but obviously not to the same level. Progression and Overload link together,
progression means that you must ensure your body continues to progress throughout the exercise and
Overload means you must overload your body to ensure that it progresses. This helps me because I
am able to run or exercise for longer distances. I will incorporate Interval training into the programme
because I feel this is the best all round training method.i will construct a programme for three weeks
and then repeat this in the second three. This week I completed 7 full lengths of the dribbling event.
The PEP is created using knowledge about your needs and the needs for your sport. This exemplar
uses the sport of Football and is written by a teacher to showcase a top grade and meet all of the
assessment objectives given in the specification marking grid. It shows I have good arm action when
entering the water, and my breathing is efficient because I breathe bilaterally. Another good time to
tackle is when your opponent looks down at the ball. As your muscles are not being worked they will
begin to weaken and any improvements made from training will be reversed. Write a review Update

three days per week otherwise I lose the effects before the next session starts. A move that we work
on with this formation requires the wide midfielders to drift inside leaving space in behind for the
full back to get out however the full backs have to recognise that the space is there or this will not
work. This is the ability to exercise the entire body for long periods of time.
There are two types of stretching, they are active stretching and passive stretching. Sometimes this
technique is used for short-range shots at goal, and even for taking penalties, because of its
reliability. Looking after your muscles helps to keep them performing to a high standard next time
you do physical activity or play sport. The object of the game is to score more goals than your
opponents by propelling the ball into the opposition’s goal. Here is how I can test these elements to
provide a base data to assess whether my programme is successful or not. As your muscles are not
being worked they will begin to weaken and any improvements made from training will be reversed.
This is because the majority of the time in midfield you don’t have much time on the ball as there is
always an opponent right behind you trying to retrieve the ball. However once your body is
comfortable dealing with the certain amount of exercise it cannot improve any more. This means that
when the kick is taken I can run onto the ball meaning I will get a higher jump making it easier for
me to win the ball. The PEP is created using knowledge about your needs and the needs for your

I’m not that good at this because I’m not faced with the opportunity that many times in a game.
However it is complex and sometimes is hard to relate exercises to a sport. However, I think this is
only a small improvement because my agility testing could have been a little more intense. The team
that dominates in the air can win the ball in the vital danger zone in front of the six yard box both
when defending and attacking, and that team can win the ball from long goal kicks. It can be used
in football to test your cardio vascular endurance for example: running around half the football pitch
and resting for 2 minutes, followed by an improved resting time of 1 minute and 50 seconds etc. As
one moves into attacking positions the other must sit in deeper because if play breaks down and both
midfielders are too far forward it leaves a big gap in the centre of midfield which can be penetrated
on the counter. For example, when resting in between repetitions, have a passing drill or shooting
frill set up instead, however, this is only after the person has completed a full 6-10 weeks of the
program. This will improve ball skills, speed and cardiovascular endurance. Also it give students clear
instructions about a focal point for future improvement. Warming down prevents soreness and muscle
fatigue by keeping the blood circulating and providing oxygen for the muscles after the activity to
reduce the amount of lactic acid that can occur. If the free kick is in the middle of the field I like to
play it quick to whoever is closest to get the game flowing and catch the opposition out of position.
My heading is also a good part of my game for both attacking and defending. Heading skills also
enable a team to use the long ball tactic bombarding the opposition with long passes towards their
penalty area. It involves unpredictable cycles of activity and rest dependant on the pattern of play
and the length of the game. In the photographs, notice how the player making the tackle is well-
balanced, but the player being tackled has been caught off balance. Write a review Update existing

might run towards the corner taker in order to receive a short pass so the distance to goal is
decreased making it easier to cross it or even shoot. Place a ball behind the line and chip it so it
bounces in the first hoop, then chip a ball so it bounces in the second hoop. After each time you
attempt a chip into the hoop, you must sprint and touch that particular hoop.
