Clouds advection and formation associated with thundershowers, hail and fresh wind may cause
flashfloods over governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, Al
Dhahira, Muscat, Al Dakhylia, North Al Sharqiya and South Al Sharqiya. Chance of low clouds or fog
patches at late night to early morning over North Al Sharqiya, South Al Sharqiya, Al Wusta, and Dhofar
governorates. Chances of dust rising due to wind over desert and open areas.

EXPECTED WINDS:
Along Oman Sea coast wind will be northerly to northeasterly and will change at night to easterly to
southeasterly light to moderate, also the wind will be easterly to southeasterly light to moderate
occasionally fresh along Arabian coast and the rest of the governorates.

SEA STATE:
Slight to moderate along most of coasts with maximum wave height 1.5 meters. But becoming rough
during thundershowers with maximum wave height of 3.0 meters.

CAUTIONS:
- Horizontal visibility might reduce during rain and fog.

HORIZONTAL VISIBILITY:
-Mainly good, may reduce in rain and fog formation sites.

governorates and the coastal areas of Al Wusta and Dhofar.
