160 new records of some wild species from

Bangladesh and 20 Additions to the
angiosperm flora of Bangladesh

ABSTRACT
The present study is providing the new distributional records of more than 160 new
records of Angiosperm family from all over Bangladesh. This is also a record of 20
rediscovered or additions to the taxon of Bangladesh. All specimen examined and
described in short list. A total of 180 species list here from all over Bangladesh.

Introduction

The native range of this family is Tropical Asia. These tree grows primarily in Indian
sub-continent, China and Indo-Chinese countries. Bangladesh, 23.6850° N,
90.3563° E is a plain land country and not so big area. We have small hills and
mountain also. The CHT districts are a full of diversity area. In Sylhet division also,
a various plants of ecological parts from Bangladesh. Many reserve forests in those
areas. Indo-Chinese climate and plant species here.
