The Right Livelihood Award is an international award to "honor and support those

offering practical and exemplary answers to the most urgent challenges facing us

 The IACH teaches students from 97 different countries around the world.

Professor George Vithoulkas, and is located on the Greek Marine Park island of

Alonissos in the Northern Aegean Sea.

• The aim of the IACH is the professional education of Medical Doctors, Medical

students and health practitioners in order to become effective Classical

 Alonnisos or Alonissos (population 2,750 in 2011) is the least touristed island in

the Sporades Islands. It is 3 km (2 m) east of the island of Skopelos. Alonissos is

also the name of a village on the island. The Municipality of Alonissos includes

several other islands. Alonissos has a permanent population of around 3,000

people and is very green and tranquil.
