CAMPOS
The surname Campos originates in Europe,
specifically in the Spanish province of Castile, while it
also has English, French, and Portuguese roots. Given
that campos can be translated as "field" or
"countryside," it seemed likely that its originators
were people who had relocated from the country to
a town or a big city, and that their new neighbors had
begun to use this word to refer to the emigrants.

TOPIC 3:
What Does it Mean to Live a Life
with Dignity? HUMAN RIGHTs

The idea of human dignity, at its most

fundamental, is the conviction that each and
every person has intrinsic worth derived
exclusively from their humanity. It has nothing to
do with their social standing, race, gender, or any
other characteristic other than their humanity.
Ethics, legislation, healthcare, and human rights are
just a few of the many areas where dignity serves as
a guiding principle. It acts as a guide for moral
behavior, ensuring that everyone is treated fairly
and justly and encouraging the development of a
culture that appreciates and upholds the rights and
inherent dignity of every individual.
Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that
belong to every person in the world, from birth until death.
They apply regardless of where you are from, what you
believe or how you choose to live your life. They can never
be taken away, although they can sometimes be restricted
– for example if a person breaks the law, or in the interests
of national security. These basic rights are based on
shared values like dignity, fairness, equality, respect, and
independence. These values are defined and protected by
law.
