CABLE

Cables that continue to perform at increased and elevated temperatures.

At significantly higher temperatures, PVC cables can no longer keep up and cables with other sheath materials are required.
Depending on the temperature range, manufacturers use polyolefin copolymer, fluoroethylene propylene, and
polytetrafluorethylene as well as silicone, which is also found in baking molds and in baby dummies. These materials are
able to withstand temperatures of up to 260 degrees Celsius.

DRAG CHAIN

What is a cable chain?

Drag Chain is a component use in flexible (moving) cable
management system.

Definition from Lapp Cable Guide

„An assembly of interconnected chain

links used for the directional, dynamic
guiding of all types of flexible energy lines.“

Purpose of use
Guiding and protection of cables and
hoses which are supplying repeatedly and
linearly moving parts of machines or
devices
