ME

Alyssa Mae Tesorero' is my name. I am a girl who was born in Antipolo City, Rizal on thursday, 19th of
August 2004, as a youngest daughter of three children. My father's name is Romeo Tesorero and my
mother's name is Jocelyn Tesorero. My parents are divorced and have their own lives now. My mother is
a single mother, currently working abroad in the country of Oman. My father has another family so he
can no longer support me as his daughter. Also, my siblings have their own families now, so I am the only
one studying.

My childhood has the best memories that I will never forget. My parents divorced when I was seven
years of old, at the year of 2011. After their divorce, my parents left me and my siblings with our
grandparents to take care of us, in the province of Catanduanes, Bicol. My dad worked in Manila as a
Foreman in a Construction Site and my mom already go overseas to work as a Housekeeper. Even though
my family is not complete, I had a happy and normal childhood just like the other children back then. But
as I grew up, I realized that my childhood was not that happy because I never experienced being a child
with a complete family. I didn't experience to have a parents who present in every special events of my
life. At the young age, I learn how to be an independent on my own, that's what I've learn to my
grandparents.

Growing up with split parents was really difficult for me, especially in a very young age. By my
sophomore year in high school I had begun to hang around with friends that got me into a lot of trouble
with a number of things. I was rapidly heading down a negative path, but was fortunate enough to
notice it before I had done any serious damage. As time went by I slowly accepted what happened to my
family, but I can't quite say that I am no longer affected by what happened to us.
