    MEL: Maximum exposure limit


    OEL: occupational exposure limit
    OEL of:
    Xylene: 100 ppm
    Toluene: 50 ppm
    -Equipment to measure toxicity in air is Drager tube & Drager
    bellows
    - Chemical crystal sensitive to the toxic substance that is been tested
    for is filled in the drager tube. Toxic air is supplied in to the tube
    using the below. A color change of the crystal occurs when the
    crystal comes in contact with the toxic air

    For Xylene: color change is from white to reddish brown. The extend
    of color shall be 5 depressions
