Political - The politics of France are governed by a semi-presidential system under the
French Constitution of the Fifth Republic1. The French Republic is an “indivisible,
secular, democratic, and social Republic” 1. The political system of France consists of
an executive branch, a legislative branch, and a judicial branch1. The executive power
is exercised by the President of the Republic and the Government, while the
legislative power is vested in the Parliament, which is divided into two chambers: the

internet, which aims to place France as the leader in the global economy, whether
