C3 STEM SOLUTIONS
FOR GREEN ENERGY –
ITALY

Activity – Green energy is any energy

type that is generated from natural
resources, such as sunlight, wind, or
water. Visit the power plants that provide
energy to the grid and conventional
power plant which provide energy for
self-production in industrial sites.

Results:
Students develop their knowledge and
understanding of green energy.
Students develop STEM-based green
energy solutions and investigate the
possible green energy solutions by
taking into consideration the protection
of wildlife;
Students understand the green energy
role in fighting climate change.

C4 DESIGN BY NATURE-
BIOMIMICRY -
LITHUANIA

Activity - Teaching biomimicry in STEM

education can provide context by intersecting
nature with science, technology, engineering,
and mathematics. In this activity, students
visit a botanical park and collect data on the
adaptations (structures and functions) of
plants through observation.

Results:
The students develop their knowledge in STEM disciples
as well as creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking
and communication;
The students develop a model/prototype on how to use
animals in solving an environmental problem by using
the structures and functions related to these organisms.
The students develop their understanding and
knowledge about the Biomimicry and adaptation of the
organism and learn how organism helps us to develop
Nature-based solutions for environmental pollution and
climate change.
The students improve their knowledge in Biotechnology,
architecture, environmental engineering.

C5 ROBOTIC COMPETITION
- STEM FESTIVAL-
MACEDONIA

Activity – Robotic competition - The effects of

climate change become more dramatic every
year. As humans, we are experiencing changes
in temperature and extreme natural disasters
are sweeping across the world. Robots can
help to fight against climate change.

Results:
Students learn and dive deep into the world of robotics
and explore how computer programming and robot
design can solve many problems
Students develop an innovative and efficient robot
specifically designed to address climate change issues.
Technology Integration: -Students successfully integrate
advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence,
sensors, and robotics into their project. This lead to the
development of a sophisticated and effective solution
for monitoring or mitigating environmental issues.
Real-world Impact: - Students show how robot works in
real-world scenarios and how make a positive impact on
the environment.
Students were able to create and design a robot and to
explain how the robot can solve different problems.

WHAT WE HAVE
SUCCEED WITH THIS
PROJECT?

Students:

improve attitudes and interest about STEM disciplines

and STEM career
raise awareness for environmental problems and
climate change (“take the future in your hands”)
develop key competencies and skills through STEM
application
improve and expand their understanding of STEM.
improve their communication skills while working in an
international team
WHAT WE HAVE
SUCCEED WITH THIS
PROJECT?

Teachers- educational leaders:

develop their professional skills to practice new learning

approaches in order to facilitate an innovative learning
approach in their lessons,
explore formative students' assessment methods for
STEM education outcomes,
develop communication skills in a foreign language while
exchanging good practices
improve organizational skills by implementing seminars,
dissemination and LTTA’s.
OVERALL
ACHIEVEMENTS OF
IMPLEMENTING
THE PROJECT
GREEN STEM GREEN DEAL

1. Sustainable Energy Innovation:

Students learn how develop innovative solutions
for green steam production, exploring alternative
energy sources such as solar, wind, or biomass.
2. Efficient Steam Technology:
Students understand how to improve the efficiency
of steam-based technologies and to reduce energy
consumption and minimize environmental impact.
3. Carbon Footprint Reduction:
Students gain knowledge for sustainable steam
technology, for reduction in carbon emissions and
overall environmental impact. Students may
quantify and analyze the potential carbon footprint
reduction achieved by their proposed solutions.
4. Integration of Green Steam in Industries:
Students may explore ways to integrate green
steam technologies into various industries, such as
manufacturing or power generation.
5. Cross-cultural Collaboration:
The students improve their soft skills and learn
how to behave in multicultural environment.

ACHIEVEMENTS OF
IMPLEMENTING
THE PROJECT
GREEN STEM GREEN DEAL

6. Educational Initiatives:
Students are ready to develop educational materials
or programs to raise awareness about the importance
of sustainable steam production. (workshops,
seminars).
7. Networking and Partnerships:
Participation in an Erasmus project provides students
with the opportunity to build international networks
and partnerships.
8. Contribution to European Green Deal
Objectives:
The project could align with the goals and objectives
of the European Green Deal, contributing to the EU's
commitment to becoming climate-neutral by 2050.
This alignment could enhance the project's
significance and relevance.
9. Skills Development:
Students involved in the project can enhance a range
of skills, including technical skills related to energy
systems, project management, teamwork,
communication, and the ability to navigate complex
interdisciplinary challenges.
