19. 𝑃, 𝑄 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑅 are three quantities such that 𝑃 varies directly as the square of 𝑄 and inversely
as the square root of 𝑅.

i. Given that 𝑃 = 12 when 𝑄 = 24 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑅 = 36 find 𝑃 when 𝑄 = 27 𝑎𝑛𝑑 121 .

20. At St.Ignatius parents agreed to contribute equally towards a construction of a form four
class dormitory, the construction needed 𝐾𝑠ℎ 2,000,000 to be completed. However 40
parents did not contribute and instead they disappeared and closed their phones. As a result
the remaining parents were to contribute Ksh 2,500 more upon the agreed amount of
money.
a.) Find the number of parents in the school. ( 5mks)

b.) If 45% of the value of construction was funded by the County governor. Calculate the
amount of contribution that would be made by each of the remaining parents.
