I. List down all the actions in your house/barangay that

you think are not showing sustainability, give at least 2 for each pillar
(economic, environmental, and socio-cultural).

A. Economic
 Energy Inefficiency
Leaving lights, appliances, and electronics on when not in use can result
in higher electricity bills and increased carbon emissions.
 Wasteful Food Practices
Throwing away food that could have been consumed or properly stored
makes unnecessary costs and contributes to food waste.

B. Environmental
 Pollution from Vehicles
Lack of proper vehicle maintenance and compliance with emission
standards can result in increased air pollution in the barangay, affecting
respiratory health and contributing to climate change.
 Improper Waste Disposal
Many households and businesses may still engage in improper waste
disposal practices such as littering or burning trash, resulting in pollution of
land, water, and air.

C. Socio-Cultural
 Cultural Erosion
Cultural identity and legacy can be damaged when customs, languages,
or practices are abandoned in favor of modernization.
 Lack of Community Engagement
When community members are not involved in decision-making processes
regarding local issues, they may feel alienated and disconnected.

II. Search for issues in the tourism industry of San Pablo City that causes
negative impact in the economy, environment, and society- culture.
Search 1 issue per pillar.

A. Economic
 Lack of Promotion and Marketing
Insufficient marketing and promotion initiatives may cause San Pablo City
to be less visible and well-known as a travel destination. Putting money
into marketing initiatives and taking part in trade shows and events for
travelers can help the city become more visible and draw in more visitors.
B. Environmental
 Increasing population and lack of waste management
The increasing population in the lakeshore areas and the various uses of
the lake, with a high number of informal settlers, the demand on the lakes
as significant resource has led to the deterioration of the water quality. At
the same time, the lakes became sinks of waste. Socio-Cultural
C. Socio-Cultural
 Overtourism
If tourism numbers exceed the city's carrying capacity, it can cause
overcrowding, traffic congestion, infrastructure strain, and increased
pollution. This can have a negative impact on residents' quality of life,
disrupt daily routines, and erode community spirit.
