Cooking without Fire

Rules:
Rule 1: carry your own ingredients

Rule 2: No Additional Ingredients are provided

Supplementary ingredients will not provided by the organizers. Participants should rely solely on
their ingredients for their dish. We will only provide water, tissues, and first aid.

Rule 3: Ingredient Quantity Limits

Participants must use all ingredients in their dish.

Rule 4: Time Limit for Ingredient Familiarization

Before the competition begins, participants will be given a brief period to familiarize themselves with
the ingredients they have. This allows them to plan their dishes mentally.

Rule 5: Mandatory Dish Elements

Each participant must include a designated set of ingredients in their dish. These mandatory
elements will be communicated to participants before the competition starts.

Rule 6: Prohibited Cooking Devices

While cooking without fire is the theme, participants cannot use any heating or cooking devices,
including electrical appliances, hot plates, or microwave ovens.

Rule 7: Collaboration Restrictions

Participants must work individually and are not allowed to share ingredients, tools, or ideas with
other participants during the competition.

Rule 8: Display of Ingredients

Throughout the cooking process, the provided ingredients should be clearly visible on each
participant's workstation for transparency and to ensure adherence to the rules.

Rule 9: Judging Based on Creativity and Skill

Dishes will be judged based on the creativity of using the provided ingredients, the culinary skill
displayed, the overall taste, and the presentation. The decision of the judges will be final.
Judgment Criteria:
Creativity and Innovation: The extent to which participants creatively utilize the provided ingredients
to create unique and unconventional dishes.

Flavor and Taste: The dishes’ overall taste and flavor profile, considering the harmonious
combination of ingredients and the final sensory experience.

Presentation and Visual Appeal: How well the dishes are presented visually, including arrangement,
color, garnishes, and overall aesthetics.

Ingredient Integration: How effectively participants incorporate all the provided ingredients into their
dishes, showcasing balance and integration.

Use of Non-Fire Cooking Methods: How well participants utilize non-fire cooking methods such as
marinating, pickling, fermenting, or assembling to enhance flavors.

Hygiene and Cleanliness: Workstations, utensils, and participants' cleanliness during the cooking
process.

Overall Execution: How well the dish aligns with the participant's concept, the attention to detail, and
the consistency of execution from start to finish.

Adherence to Rules: How well participants follow the rules and guidelines of the competition,
including the use of provided ingredients and refraining from using fire-based cooking methods.
