STEP 1 – LOGIN
Log into Major Clarity through Clever. Go to “My Portfolio” to view the modules to complete at 100%.

STEP 2 – PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT

Click on “Personality Assessment” in “My Portfolio”. Complete the assessment by clicking the green heart icon to agree
or click the red X icon to disagree. Once complete, fill out the following chart (note they will not be in the exact order on
your computer screen.)

Artistic = 0 % Investigative = 33 % Social = 17 %

Enterprising = 39 % Conventional = 6 % Realistic = 6%
To learn more about what these personality types mean, click the “i" circle icon beside the title.

STEP 3 – LEARNING STYLES ASSESSMENT

Return to “My Portfolio” to see that your Personality Assessment is complete. NOW click on “Learning Styles
Assessment”, complete the questions by clicking NO to disagree or YES to agree. Once complete, fill out the following
chart (note they will not be in the exact order on your computer screen.)

STEP 4 – CAREER EXPLORATION

1. Return to “My Portfolio” to see that your Learning Assessment is complete. NOW click on “Explore Career Paths”.
You will now be able to select 3 career paths. The 3 career paths at the top of the page have the highest “fit score”. “Fit
score” means that, according to your answers, the percentage shows which careers would be a good fit for you.
2. Review the Career Paths (there are 60+). Once you find a path that you are interested in, CLICK on the career title in
the picture box. Scroll through to read the description of the career path. You can view all Career Paths on the handout.
3. NOW - Scroll to the bottom of the page to view the different “Occupations”. Select 2 jobs/occupations you would like
to view. Read the descriptions. After viewing the career path and job titles, decide if this is a career option you would
consider.
4. Next, complete ALL boxes on the back of this page. Complete 3 Career Paths
You will choose 3 CAREER PATHS in TOTAL.

OCCUPATION/JOB TITLE: Real Estate Sales Agents
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent

STEP 5 – ACADEMIC ACTION PLAN and SHARE YOUR ACADEMIC AND CAREER PLAN
1. Go to “My Portfolio” to check to see if you have completed all steps, 1-4.
2. NOW - Click on “Start Career Plan”. Enter a career goal (see example about teacher) and click SAVE.
3. NEXT – Sign the ACP (Academic and Career Plan) in the blank box and click SAVE SIGNATURE.
4. NOW – CLICK on the “Education Goals” tab. You will select Diploma type, My Post Graduation Decision, Diploma
Recognition and if you are interested in a Military Branch (if not select none).
5. NOW - Send your ACP to your parents/guardians to have signed. SELECT “Send Career Plan” and click OK.
STEP 6 – BUILD YOUR PLAN OF STUDY
1. Select your Pathway.
2. Complete your course selections for 7th-12th grade. See handouts as guides to help. Note: If you are in advanced
classes and would like to continue, be sure to select those AP courses.
STEP 7 – Major Clarity SURVEY
Go to Major Clarity, CLICK on Student Survey, CLICK on “Reflection”, and complete the survey. Click SEND when done.
