INTERVIEW

2022 Participant
Trumpet Lora Georgieva

At the moment I’m finishing my master degree in Germany and here we

had every week 2 different wind & brass and only brass rehearsals with

various orchestral repertoire. I find this very helpful because during these

rehearsals we have the opportunity to learn certain orchestral excerpts for

our instruments and also how it is to be played with a bigger ensemble

rather than on your own. I think this is very unique and useful curriculum in

my studies that helps me be prepare for my future professional life in an

orchestra.

I’m extremely grateful for my experience with KNSO Academy. It was one

of the best experiences in my life and all I can recommend to the young

musicians is to soak up every concert, mentoring session, lecture and cultur-

al activity. I really enjoyed that I had the chance to have lessons and play

together with KNSO musicians.

The biggest strength of KNSO Academy is the amazing team who organ-

ized and created this unforgettable experience. The organization, informa-

tion, hospitality and kindness that we have all received by the KNSO team

is one thing that I will never forget. Thank you again for everything.

I hope to see you all very soon again in South Korea!
