About mithibai kshitij
Kshitij is the annual international intercollegiate cultural
festival of Mithibai College, that has been soaring
since 2007. Since then, it has led a 15 year long
legacy wherein each chapter is filled with enthralling
stories. This year, the 16th edition of the festival will
be a noteworthy addition to the next few pages of
Kshitij’s history. We have a committee of over 700
students who diligently work towards adding zest to
this extravagant festival making it one of the biggest
festivals in Asia. The list of events this year sums up
to a total of 51 events over eight departments,
providing a prodigious platform for all students across
the nation. We are also the first ever college festival to
have introduced Para Events, where we  host several
events for the differently-abled. Igniting the city with
its eternal flame, Kshitij garners more than 50,000
students from all over India.

Adding to the festival’s charm with top notch

celebrities gracing our venues, we have also  been
hosting ‘The Kshitij Show’ - the official talk show
where influential artists allow us to peep into their life
behind the stardom. Furthermore, participants also get
a chance to win gifts worth Rupees 30 Lakhs & cash
prizes worth Rupees 5 Lakhs, and experience a
cultural spectacle of a lifetime.

AN EVERLASTING FLAME
They say life is a long road of anguish. Why so? What
makes life strenuous?

When in life darkness lingers, in moments where

everything seems bleak; when the dark tunnel ahead
seems unending; you look for the light within. When
giving up seems like the only escape, when failure hits
you like a flat blade of ice, you choose to dive within.
You choose to keep trudging forward looking for that
fire within you. ‘Kshitij’ is this fire within you.

Scarlet to the black, it urges you to march forward

and not limit yourself to failures but to stand against all
odds. This flame is an epitome of hope that yields you
to dive deep within; find the ‘Why’ to your purposes
and channel it in the right direction.

Burning the borders of differences enticing us, it is the

fire that unites.

Kshitij is this eternal flame within all of us that

never goes off.

The light that ignites passion in the souls aspiring

them to chase after their dreams, Kshitij is a beacon
of light. It is indeed the fire within you that incites you
to achieve limitless success.
