SUBJECT : Resumption of 2022 PhilSys Operations

Dear Director Bernasor:

Greetings from the Philippine Statistics Authority-Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical
Office (PSA-DavNor PSO)!
The valuable support of the Department of Interior and Local Government under your
leadership, the Registration Teams (RT) of Philippine Identification System (PhilSys)
of the entire province were able to register the 858,668 persons in 2021.
For this year 2022, the PSA-DavNor PSO is about to proceed on implementing the
PhilSys-Step 2 registration, and continue to register the 5 years old and above that
were not registered in 2021. With the aforementioned registered persons in 2021, the
workloads for the locality and of the entire province reduced expectedly.
Consequently, it reduces the number of operating Registration Kits (RKs) of the entire
province from thirty (30) to twelve (12) for this year 2022, as well as, the numbers of
manpower. Thus, redistribution of RKs in Davao del Norte and clustering of PhilSys
RT shall takes place.
When the periodic maintenance of RKs, enhancement of PhilSys Registration System,
and retraining of the newly batch-willing PhilSys personnel are met within this week,
the 2022 PhilSys Step 2 registration will start on 24 January 2022.
As usual, we are hoping so much your support to this national endeavor, the
registration of your constituents into the Philippine Identification System for them to
have the Philippine ID, as their foundational Identification document.
