1.1 Course Description/Objectives


• This course aims to provide historical and modern overviews and perspectives on virtual reality,
augmented reality, mixed reality and extended reality.
• To describe the fundamentals of sensation, perception, technical and engineering aspects of virtual,
augmented, mixed and extended reality systems.
• To explore the working of VR/AR/MR/XR systems.
