Gen Z faces numerous mental health challenges due to societal and

technological factors. These include social media pressure,
academic and career expectations, body image issues, information
overload, cyberbullying, environmental concerns, financial stress,
and identity and inclusivity.

DILEMMAS

The constant need to present a perfect image on social media can

lead to feelings of inadequacy, anxiety, and depression. The
pressure to excel academically and prepare for a successful career
can cause stress and burnout. Body image issues can result in
unhealthy eating habits and even eating disorders.

ANALYSIS

The digital age can also be overwhelming, leading to cyberbullying

and online harassment. Environmental concerns, financial stress,
and identity and inclusivity issues can also impact mental well-
being.

REACTION

To foster mental wellness, society, educators, and parents should

provide support, open communication, and resources for coping
with these challenges.
