Initial Title Proposal

Research Area: Environmental Engineering

Proposed Title: Design and Fabrication of Smokeless Portable Garbage Incinerator
Description: Incinerator is a type of furnace designed for burning hazardous materials in a
combustion chamber, it is the machine or container that used for burning garbage waste and etc.
Solid waste incinerators (SWIs) are industrial facilities, based on sustained high-temperature
combustion processes and intended to treat hazardous, clinical, or municipal waste, so as to
reduce its volume and hazardousness, capture, concentrate, and destroy potentially harmful
substances, and, as of more recently, recover energy from the combustion of the waste for
disposal.
Research Objective/s:
To reduce its volume and hazardousness
To capture, concentrate, and destroy potentially harmful substances
And recover energy from the combustion of waste
To protect our environment from pollution and contamination and repair and reduce the damage
caused by pollution.
Justification:
Reduces the quantity of waste
Pollution decrease by using smokeless incineration
Some incinerators burn waste on a massive scale and turn it into energy, leading them to be
touted as green alternatives to landfill.
