University Mapping with Student Monitoring System iv

ABSTRACT

The project "University Mapping with Student Monitoring System" aims

to develop a web-based platform that can help students, faculty, and staff
navigate their way around the university campus more efficiently. The platform
will include a detailed map of the university, highlighting all of the key locations,
such as classrooms, offices, libraries, and labs. Additionally, it will provide a
student monitoring system that can track the location of students within the
university premises in real-time. The student monitoring system will enable the
university to ensure the safety of its students and prevent any untoward
incidents on campus. It will also help students locate their friends and
classmates more easily, especially during large events or emergencies. The
platform will be accessible through any web-enabled device, making it easy for
users to access the information they need quickly and conveniently. The
platform will also be designed to be user-friendly, with intuitive navigation and
an attractive, modern interface. The proposed system will be developed using
state-of-the-art web technologies and programming languages such as HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with the use of the MySQL database to store and
manage data. It will be built using a scalable architecture that can
accommodate future expansion and enhancement of the platform. The project
will also ensure compliance with the latest web standards, accessibility
guidelines, and security protocols. The project is expected to contribute
significantly to the university community by providing an efficient and effective
means of navigating the campus and enhancing the safety and security of the
students. The project's success will be measured by the level of user
engagement and satisfaction, as well as the number of incidents prevented
through the student monitoring system.
