Joints of the acceleration system, in the engine

Engines of series 447 and 449 (Buses, Platforms and Chassis for Buses)

The above mentioned engines, as per the following indications, receive now the application of grease points in
the joint bearings of the acceleration system, installed in the engine, as follows:
• one grease point (45˚), apllied in the bearing installed on flywheel housing;
• one grease point (straight), applied in the bearing installed on flywheel housing lateral side.

The introduced modification has the purpose of making possible a more efficient periodical lubrication.

NOTES:
• In case an eventual intervention in the referred joints is necessary, we recommend the application of the bear-
ings with grease point which are being presented now.
• The joints lubrication must be carried out within the intervals prescribed in the Maintenance Schedule, in ac-
cordance with the Service Category in which the vehicle is placed.
