Dependent Resistance
Light dependent resistance, or LDR, is a type of resistor whose resistance
varies according to the intensity of light it is exposed to. This variability
makes LDRs useful in a variety of applications, including light sensors and
camera exposure control.

What is Light Dependent Resistance?
When photons strike the High light intensity leads to Light energy is converted to
semiconductor, they free up low resistance, while low light electrical energy, altering the
electrons, reducing the intensity results in high resistance of the material.
