Acknowledgment
We would like to express our special thanks of gratitude to PPD Beluran as well
as our headmasters Mr. Mohamad Malan (SK Sungai Nangka) and Mr. Gardif Singh
a/l Balawan Singh (SK Jaya Bakti) who gave us the golden opportunity to do this
wonderful module, which also helped us in doing a lot of research and we came to
know about so many new things. Many people, especially our colleagues, have made
valuable comments and suggestions on this task which gave us an inspiration and
aspiration to improve our modules. We thank all the people for their help directly and
indirectly to complete our assignment. The preparation of this module would not have

WRITING MODULE
Preface
The module has been prepared with the thoughts of boosting the English UPSR
results in mind. For preparing the module, we had revised the requirements of the
latest UPSR question papers. We have also visited the sample question papers as
provided by the LPM (Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia) during the suggested duration
for the period of 1 week, to avail the necessary information. The blend of learning and
knowledge acquired during our research is delivered in these modules.
The principle behind the emphasis of essay writing is to provide learners with
the opportunity to explore the areas of narrative composition in depth. It is hoped that
learners will be aspired to write meaningful essays with minimal errors and facilitate
their understanding the use of lexical in certain context. This module consists of ten
essential chapters that are set to accommodate writing skills for the pupils. The module
starts with the basic concepts of writing and it also sets out to cover the general
information about the steps involved in the writing process. We focus to elaborate in
the most basic structure of sentence making, then we expand it to the next level of
narrating a story. Clearly, this module helps learners to independently write
compositions.
