J - joint pain: hallmark symptom

O -Osteophyte Formation: bony enlargements

I - Inflammation: response to the mechanical stress and cartilage breakdown

N - Noisy Joints: uneven surfaces rub against each other during movement, it can produce noise

T - Tenderness: can be tender to touch

S - Stiffness: joint’s ability to move freely is compromised, leading to stiffness
