Subject: Progress Report on Shooting Incident at Vivaldi Residence Tower Davao

Summary of Incident:

On February 23, 2024, a shooting incident occurred in front of Vivaldi Residence Tower Davao, located
along the corner of Ramon Magsaysay Ave., Ext., and CM Recto St., Purok 32-D, Brgy Poblacion,
Davao City. The victim, identified as Dominic Alonzo LiM, a 32-year-old single individual and elected
Municipal Councilor of Monkayo, Davao De Oro, was fatally shot. The suspects, riding in tandem,
immediately fled the scene after the incident. Despite efforts to save him, Mr. LiM was pronounced dead
upon arrival at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) by attending physician DRA Bea Kath
Padilla.

Items Recovered at the Crime Scene:

Two live ammunitions

Two sachets believed to contain shabu
One caliber .45 pistol
One Realme Narzo 50 cellphone
Three fired slugs

Progress Made:

Investigation: Our investigative team has been actively working on gathering evidence,
interviewing witnesses, and analyzing CCTV footage from nearby establishments to identify and
 apprehend the suspects involved in the shooting. Additionally, efforts are being made to
ascertain the motive behind the incident.
Forensic Analysis: The recovered items from the crime scene, including the firearm, ammunition,
and fired slugs, have been submitted for forensic analysis to determine their connection to the
crime and assist in identifying the perpetrators.
Collaboration with Other Agencies: We have been collaborating with local law enforcement
agencies, including the Davao City Police Office, and relevant government authorities to
coordinate efforts and share information in pursuit of resolving this case swiftly and effectively.

Next Steps:

- Continue conducting thorough investigations, including interviewing witnesses and following

up on any leads or tips received.

- Await the results of forensic analysis to provide additional insights into the circumstances
surrounding the shooting incident.

- Heighten surveillance and patrols in the vicinity of the crime scene to prevent any further
incidents and apprehend the suspects.
