表示过去某个时间里发生的动作或状态。
如： I bought a yellow dress yesterday afternoon.
昨天下午我买了一条黄裙子。
I was an English teacher one year ago.

第 1 类情况：(含实义动词)

◆肯定句：主语 + 动词过去式 +其它

如：My father had a cold yesterday.

我爸爸昨天感冒了。
I went shopping yesterday.

◆ 否定句：主语 +助动词 did+not+动原 +其它

如：My father didn't have a cold yesterday.
我爸爸昨天没感冒。
I didn't go shopping yesterday.
我昨天没去购物。
(助动词 do/does 的过去式是：did)

◆ 一般疑问句：助动词 Did + 主语 + 动原 +其它

如：Did your father have a cold yesterday?
你爸爸昨天感冒了吗？
Did you go shopping yesterday?
你昨天去购物了吗？

◆ 特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+ 助动词 did + 主语 + 动原 +其它

如：What did your father do yesterday?
你爸爸昨天做什么了？
Where did you go yesterday?
你昨天去哪儿了？

第 2 类情况：(含 be 动词)
◆肯定句：主语 + was/were +其它
如：She was in the playground just now.
她刚刚在操场上。
They were in the playground just now.
他们刚刚在操场上。

◆ 否定句：主语 + was/were +not+其它
如：She wasn't in the playground just now.
她刚刚不在操场上。

They weren't in the playground just now.
他们刚刚不在操场上。

◆ 一般疑问句：Was/Were + 主语 +其它
如：Was she in the playground just now?

4‍ ＞动词过去式的变化规则：
1.规则变化
◆一般情况下，加 ed
如：work-worked，stay-stayed

◆以不发音的 e 结尾，加 d
如：live-lived，hope-hoped

◆以辅音字母+y 结尾的，变 y 为 i 加 ed
如: study-studied, carry-carried

◆以重读闭音节结尾的动词且末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写尾字母，加 ed
如：stop-stopped，plan-planned
