Regular Verbs
Formula→ verb + ed (play→ played, work→ worked, travel→ travelled)
Exceptions → verb ends in -l: double -l → travel (travelled)
→ verb ends in -i: add -ied → try (tried) except: play (played) and stay (stayed)
Irregular Verbs

Negative of irregular verbs
Formula → Person + didn’t + verb
Ex: I didn’t play basketball. / Mary and Pablo didn’t lose the game. / James didn’t fall on the floor.
