Apart from imitating the windings, other parents become frustrated on seeing their daughters

imitate the designer gear they see in those videos. The degradation of women by rap music

affects boys as well who develop the notion that girls are “toys” (356). Indeed, one would expect

that as boys watch videos portraying cool women over a long duration, they develop the notion

that women are merely objects that must be subjected to use. The fact that some parents fear that

their daughter will be picked for soliciting clearly shows that they have been negatively affected

by the rap videos that show women dressed provocatively.
