2. Storytelling: Users can create and share "Snap Stories," which are
compilations of photos and videos that can be viewed by their followers for
24 hours.
3. Discover: Snapchat's Discover feature offers a curated selection of news,
entertainment, and lifestyle content from various publishers.
4. Augmented Reality (AR): Snapchat is known for its AR filters, lenses, and
effects, which allow users to add playful and creative elements to their
photos and videos.
5. Live Stories: Users can contribute to location-based Live Stories that
showcase events or trends happening in a specific area or among a particular 6
group of users.
 FOUNDERS AND HISTORY

Snapchat was founded by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown
while they were students in june two thousand and eleven at Stanford
University. The app initially faced controversy and legal disputes related
to its ownership, with Reggie Brown ultimately receiving a settlement.
Despite early challenges, Snapchat gained widespread popularity,
especially among younger users, and went on to become a major player in
the social media landscape.

Snapchat has continued to evolve over the years, introducing features like
Snap Maps, Discover, and an ad platform that caters to businesses. It has also
expanded its offerings beyond messaging and storytelling, making it a

much anymore, only when I want to play
with filters.

Snapchat is a platform that includes visual

creativity, and the ability to keep users
engaged. I really like it because it has a
great variety of filters with which it
manages to entertain all types of
