Job Summary: You will be responsible for taking care of the animals, the farm and
the compound. As a competent and reliable gardener you will maintain our company
garden. You will be responsible for all general maintenance tasks related to the
garden and the animals including milking, feeding the animals planting new plants,
servicing garden machinery, conducting regular pruning and advising management of
cost-effective methods.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Farm and Animal Attendant

1. Feeding and milking cows and cleaning their shed

2. Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and
expectations.
3. Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing
weed control and leaf raking.
4. Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.
5. Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
6. Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health
regulations.
7. Maintaining site landscaping.
8. Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation.
9. Fertilizing lawn, trees, flowers and shrubs, and spreading mulch.
10. Trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs, and preventing and eliminating weeds.
11. Utilizing insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical sprays to treat diseases.
12. Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris, and emptying trash
receptacles.
13. Conducting basic irrigation audits and performing basic irrigation repairs.
14. Any other role allocated to you by your managers and supervisors
